You don’t need a ₹1 Lakh gaming PC anymore. NVIDIA is officially launching GeForce Now in India on April 16, letting you play high-end games directly from the cloud even on low end devices.


What is NVIDIA GeForce Now?

GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service by NVIDIA that lets you play PC games without downloading them. Instead of running games on your device, everything runs on NVIDIA’s powerful servers and streams to your screen just like watching a video.


India Launch Date and Access

NVIDIA is launching GeForce now in India on April 16, 2026. The service will go live in public beta, meaning it’s not fully finished yet and will improve over time.

Access will be limited at first. Users who joined the waiting list will receive invites in phases, and each invite will be valid for a limited time.


Devices You Can Play On

One of the biggest advantages of GeForce now is flexibility. You can play on:

  • PC and Laptop (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Mobile phones (Android and iPhone)
  • Tablets and iPads
  • Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Android TV)
  • Web browsers Like Chrome, Safari and Edge
  • Handheld gaming devices like Stream Deck

Basically, if your device have browser and internet, you can play.


How Good is it?

NVIDIA is running dedicated servers in Mumbai, which should reduce lag and improve performance for Indian users.

The high end tier support:

  • Up to 1080p at 360Hz
  • 1440p at 240Hz
  • Ray tracing and DLSS support

This means you can experience high end graphics even on a basic device. This is best thing any gamer can experience.


Games You can Play

Geforce now don’t give you free games. Instead, it will let you play games that you own from platform like steam and Epic games. The platform supports over 4,500 games including many AAA games and esports titles.


Pricing in India

NVIDIA has not announced official pricing for india yet. However, based on global pricing, users can expect:

  • Free tier (Limited access)
  • Paid tiers with better performance and priority access

Pricing will be going to be same as Xbox Cloud Gaming in India.

  2. Join the waiting list
  3. Wait for an invite email

Early users will get access first because part of beta rollout.
